HBCU 5K at EpicCentral

The 7th Annual DFW HBCU Alumni 5K takes place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 7:00 AM at The Epic in Grand Prairie, TX, with a virtual participation option for supporters nationwide. This exciting event will bring together HBCU alumni, students, and supporters from across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to celebrate the rich legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), promote health and wellness, and raise critical scholarship funds for local students attending HBCUs across the country.

Over the past seven years, the DFW HBCU Alumni 5K has proudly awarded over $25,000 in scholarships to DFW-based students pursuing their education at HBCUs nationwide through the DFW HBCU Alumni Heritage Scholarship.

This year’s event will take place from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM CDT, and registration fees range from $20 – $30. All HBCU alumni, students, family, friends, and supporters are encouraged to participate!
