EpicCentral has exciting family activities planned for July 4th to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Be sure to enjoy this special day with your friends at EpicCentral. Highlights of the day’s events include:
- 6:00 Golden Knight Army Ranger Parachute Jump + Mayor’s welcome
- 6:15 Presenting of Colors by Vietnam Veterans, GP Chapter TX1013
- 6:30 Signing of the National Anthem by Baylee Broom + Warbirds flyover
- 7:00 Mayor’s announcement of the students’ Essay and Art Project winners
- 7:20 Reading of Preamble from the Declaration of Independence
- 7:35 Singing of God Bless America by GPISD Student(s)
- 8:00-9:45 Live Music by Mood Swings
- 9:45 Drone Show with music

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for a fun-filled evening.

Can you set up a canopy for shade at the event?
Canopies are permitted on the GrandLawn, but not in the Astroturfed section directly in front of the Jambox stage. Also, no stakes. Only sandbags can be used.
Will this be an actual firework show?
There will be a colorful drone show as the finale, but no fireworks.
Can you bring your own drinks? Or ice chests?
Items allowed:
• Blankets
• Lawn chairs (low to the ground with backs at shoulder height)
• Personal coolers
• Pets (must be on a leash; must pick up and dispose of waste immediately)
Items not allowed:
• Pop-up tents
• Tables
• Large umbrellas
• Glass containers
• Large coolers
