Monday, May 4 – Sunday, May 10: Closed all week for playground and artificial turf repairs (pending favorable weather). Reopening to the public on Monday, May 11.

Colorful. Exciting. Huge! You’ve simply got to see it to believe it. PlayGrand Adventures at EpicCentral is a large, 10-acre inclusive playground designed for all ages and abilities, offering a variety of play experiences to stimulate, challenge, and encourage development. It’s designed to be a safe and fun experience for individuals of all ages and abilities, promoting discovery, creativity, exercise, and social interaction. It features adventure areas with climbing, swinging, and spinning equipment, as well as shaded areas and spaces for social interaction.
Additionally, the park features walking trails, a sports area, and a youth activity area within the larger EpicCentral park. Want to have an epic play date? PlayGrand offers seating for picnics, clean bathrooms, and plenty of shaded areas. Admission is free, and we’re open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. Find us at 2985 Epic Place between Arkansas Lane and Warrior Trail in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Things To Do at PlayGrand Adventures

Explore the Adventure Areas: PlayGrand Adventures has designated adventure areas, equipped with climbing, swinging, and spinning features, providing stimulating and challenging play experiences.

Adventure Hill: This zone features a 14-ft elevation change and a 25-ft observation play tower with opportunities for sliding, climbing, and learning activities.
Adventure Zone: Includes high-intensity climbing, swinging, and spinning activities, and a dedicated toddler play area.
Tranquil Adventures: Offers a space for calm and imaginative play with playhouses, a sensory art wall, spinning elements, and a play hill.
ADA-Accessible Area: PlayGrand Adventures also features ADA-accessible play equipment, including wheelchair-accessible swings and merry-go-rounds, smooth wheelchair paths, and picnic tables with ample shade.
Enjoy Shaded Areas: The playground includes ample shaded areas where parents and guardians can relax while supervising children.

Engage in Social Interaction: The playground is designed to foster social interaction among children of different ages and abilities.

Develop Skills: PlayGrand Adventures aims to stimulate, challenge, and encourage the development of various skills, including creativity and social interaction.

Utilize the Youth Activity Area: This area provides a safe space for younger children to engage in activities and play.

Walk the Nearby Paved Pathways: EpicCentral features a 2.3-mile paved Trail system, ideal for walking, jogging, or leisurely strolls.

Explore the Nearby Lakes and Green Spaces: EpicCentral features five lakes where you can fish or enjoy the scenery, as well as ample green space that is the ground zero for many festivals.

Visit Central Bark Dog Park: Don’t leave your canine friends out of the fun and adventure. Within walking distance of PlayGrand Adventures is an enclosed dog park where they can enjoy themselves.
