The Bellagio-style lights of the Las Vegas strip have made it–in part–to North Texas with the all-new Illuvia water, projection, and lights show that runs nightly all summer long at EpicCentral in Grand Prairie. Make plans now for a quick getaway to Dallas-Fort Worth’s newest entertainment district to see the show—the first of its kind in North America. Bring the whole family to enjoy light installations, 60-foot water sprays, video projection, and a harmonizing soundtrack–all free to the public.
The signature Illuvia experience will continue to evolve seasonally with new features throughout the year, so chances are, you’ll want to return for each new installation. Built with 26 back jets and 11 moveable arms, the colorful water and light show seem to tell a story with each performance. The full installation can be viewed nightly with memorable performances, each different from the one before. The twilight shows feature water, lights, and music at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM while we experience longer daylight hours. The full Illuvia experience featuring water, lights, music, and video projection, runs at 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM. During the day, fountain shows take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., returning at 5 p.m.
When Grand Prairie mayor Ron Jensen and city council members envisioned EpicCentral years ago, they knew it would be a special addition to the community.
