Calling all dino lovers and adventure seekers! Get ready for a prehistoric experience like no other as the Ext-ROAR-dinary Dino Fest stomps into Grand Prairie. The festivities run Friday, March 15 from 10am-6pm, Saturday the 16th from 10am-6pm, and Sunday the 17th from 11am-5pm. Entry is completely FREE for all ages, so round up your tiny rexes and dino pals for this can’t-miss event!
At the center of the festivities are the jaw-dropping, life-sized animatronic dinosaurs provided by The Dinosaur Company. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, the plant-munching Brachiosaurus, the spiky Stegosaurus, and more incredible recreations of these prehistoric giants.
But that’s just the start of the dino delights! Throughout the weekend, you can:
- Hear fascinating dino tales at the scheduled storytimes
- Learn mind-blowing facts on the fun Dino Trail
- Get crafty with dino mask making and other dino-themed arts & crafts
- Dig for fossils and play dino games like Tricera-toss
- Explore dino exhibits and much more!
Also, don’t forget to dine with the dinosaurs at The Finch waterfront restaurant, where they’ll be serving up a roaringly good Dino Nugget Kids Meal, complete with a side of crispy French fries. Let your little paleontologists fuel up on this prehistoric feast before venturing out to explore the animatronic dinosaurs and activities.
