GPD/Hyundai Anti-Theft Clinic at The Epic Parking Lot

Join Grand Prairie PD and Hyundai for a free anti-theft clinic at The Epic parking lot (2960 Epic Place, Grand Prairie, TX 75052) this weekend:

• Friday (7/12) & Saturday (7/13): 8 am – 6 pm
• Sunday (7/14): 8 am – 2 pm

Hyundai is offering free installation of anti-theft software for certain vehicles without push-button ignitions and immobilizing anti-theft devices. This initiative addresses a theft method popularized on social media.

Specially trained technicians will perform the software upgrade, which takes about 20-30 minutes. Free steering wheel locks will be provided to all Hyundai owners who attend.

This is the 28th national event responding to persistent thefts targeting certain Hyundai vehicles without push-button ignitions and immobilizing anti-theft devices. Clinics like Washington DC, Chicago, Baltimore, Denver, Seattle, and Los Angeles have already occurred.

The mobile clinic complements Hyundai’s dealership network in providing this free anti-theft solution.
