Get ready to travel back in time to the age of the dinosaurs! The Grand Prairie Libraries and EpicCentral are bringing a dino-mite event to town from March 15th-17th. The Ext-ROAR-dinary Dino Fest promises a weekend of prehistoric fun for all ages – and best of all, it’s FREE!

Over the three-day event, you’ll have the chance to see life-sized animatronic dinosaurs like the mighty T-Rex, Stegosaurus, and Brachiosaurus up close. These incredibly realistic dinos are provided by The Dinosaur Company, leaders in animatronic exhibits for zoos, museums, and theme parks.

But that’s not all! The Ext-ROAR-dinary Dino Fest will also feature:

  • Exciting storytimes where you can hear dinosaur tales come to life
  • A Fun Fact Dino Trail to learn amazing prehistoric knowledge
  • Dino arts & crafts like making your own masks
  • Fossil dig, Tricera-toss game, and other dino-themed activities
  • A mini dinosaur exhibit to explore

Dine With the Dinos at The Finch

Dine with the dinos at The Finch waterfront restaurant, where they’ll be serving up a roaringly good Dino Nugget Kids Meal complete with a side of crispy French fries. Let your little paleontologists fuel up on this prehistoric feast before venturing out to explore the animatronic dinosaurs and activities. With its scenic waterfront views, The Finch provides the perfect prehistoric pit stop during your Dino Fest adventures. (There is a cost associated with The Finch’s Dino Nugget Kids Meal.)

Mark your calendars for this unmissable event at Epic Central (2961 Hwy 161, Grand Prairie). The dino funfest runs Friday 3/15 from 10am-6pm, Saturday 3/16 from 10am-6pm, and Sunday 3/17 from 11am-5pm.
