EpicCentral presents its spectacular (and FREE) Thursday Night Solo Artist Series throughout July.
Tonight’s guest is Jade Nichol. At just 23-years-old, State Fair Records artist, singer/songwriter Jade Nickol is gaining a name for herself in the Dallas music scene at a swift pace. With her controversial writing and distinctive tone, she has been compared to the voices of Joni Mitchell and Stevie Nicks. Jade brings a fresh breath to songs you love with acoustic stylings. 2020 Dallas Observer Awards ‘Best Vocalist’ nominee.
Jade Nickol is a DFW native who has been working in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. After winning first place in a singing competition at the age of 10, Jade, with the help of her family, began vocal training with a variety of accredited voice coaches in the DFW area. She also trained in acting for film and TV with various acting teachers around the United States. Jade began gigging as a musician full-time in 2018 after graduating from high school. She gained attention quickly from venues and booking contacts around DFW. She then signed with DFW indie label, State Fair Records in 2019. Following the release of her 1st studio EP (Murphy’s Law) with the label, she performed at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, Thin Line Festival, Wildflower Arts & Music festival, and began booking consistent gigs at major DFW venues. All while being a part-time student at Berklee Online (Berklee College of Music). Over the summer of 2022, Jade became one of the frontmen of the 80s band ”Members Only” along with doing gigs with the party band “Party Kings”.
Now, Jade is the sole owner of Jade Nickol Music and pursues music full time. You can find her gigging all around DFW with her guitar. Check out the calendar to find dates of next show!
DFW’s best new place to see a band is Jambox, the outdoor music venue at EpicCentral. Whether you’re into rock or reggaeton, funk or punk, big phat beats, or beautiful country ballads, this place will be music to your ears. Jambox promises a fun, musical experience for everyone, steps away from vibrant dining options and the spectacular new Vegas-style water and light show, Illuvia. Ready to dance, sing, and get your groove back? Come catch the next live concert at Jambox.
Jambox at EpicCentral features a first-come, first-served “festival-viewing” lawn with no reserved seating. Patrons may be standing in front of you during a performance. Please be respectful of people around you – share the space, make room for others, and get to know your neighbors!
